Ok guys here is my story on my latest build.
My dad and I decided to a father son guitar project, he was an accordian player. I was in charge of getting the parts and putting the stuff together with pops approval.
I was able to get a SD body 2 H, Kahler body, awe color blue, next on the list was a neck, My dad like the Jackson neck I had on past guitars but wanted this to be Charvel.
He said ok your the player of it when it is done, but try to get an ebony finger board as he like the tone from my 84 with one, and my LPC 82. Still on the look for one, but that is where the project stalled. My dad took ill and afterseverl months and doctors visit we found out that he had terminal cancer, in his kidney and a spot on his lung. It was getting well time for him and he wanted to to continue the project, but I put it on the back burner. He was on the road to recovery and we had set it up fpr him to have the kidney removed and then the lung if need be. A couple days before his final checkup before the surgery, he had fallen getting some water and had to be admitted into the hospital, then he was sent to hospic(sp!). He did start to get better and was going to be moved and he then got worse from one day to the next. It was not much more time after that he was gone. Now I had to step-up and carry out his last wishes. Let me now tell you all from experiance "where there is a will there are relitives" Ruthless ones to boot. Since I am currently involved in a legal battle with the only other heir then myself, I can not talk about it until things are settled and the estate is closed.
Back to the project, to keep my mind on the right track and honor my dad, I pickup the project again.
I was able to get a neck, a Rose wood kahlered SD Charvel neck newly refretted and it is awesome.
Then it was time for it's heart beat and internals. I got new Charvel toggle switch with correct switch tip, and Vol pot I found in other parts bins I have along with Jack, and jack plate and screws. For that Heart beat and soul, I was able to get the increasingly rare Seymour Duncan Double Cremem pickups. I also got matching rings.
For the neck heartbeat I got a Double Creme duncan 59N-m, For the bridge heart beat, I got the more even rarer Double Creme Duncan "The Mag", th stage mag came after this pup. I then got a gold used period correct Kahler with trem arm. No it was time to assemble this in the memory of my lat dad.
She is now complete and I have been told by other guitarist's and Charvel local guys it is the best one they have either heard and or played. My close friend and fellow Jammer said he could not put it down and could play it for hours on end.
Thank you for making this possible!
I want to take time out here to thank everyone here(ALZ!) and on usacharvels(68Strat) that made this tribute and a forever memory I will have of and with my dad.
Now for the pics

Yeah I am still missing a SD Brass Vol knob, and an SD Neck plate, thos are something I can get later when I see them.
Thanks guys for listing to my story and hope you all like th eye candy
